I have been involved with dogs for 20 years. I have been lucky to have shared my life with some amazing dogs - Great Danes, an Australian Cattle Dog and now Field Spaniels. I have been fortunate to have enjoyed some success in the ring in both showing and performance sports. I have achieved more than 25 titles with 5 dogs across 7 different sports.
I am a registered Obedience and Rally judge and a Life Member of the Hastings and District Obedience Dog Club.
I have worked with my dogs in both schools and hospitals and have also worked as a professional trainer.
Our dogs are part of our family and we believe in giving them lots of opportunities for physical and mental enrichment. This includes competing in dog sports, swimming at the beach and bush walks.They pay us back with unconditional love and cuddles. It's a good deal!
I am a member of the following;
Dogs Victoria
Rarer Gundog Spaniel Club of Victoria
Tracking Club of Victoria
Hastings Obedience Dog Club
I am lucky that my husband is a professional photographer and provides me with wonderful photos. More of his work can be found here.
Fayemor is registered with Dogs Victoria as part of their Breeder Accreditation Program and is also registered with the Pet Exchange Register with Animal Welfare Victoria (Registration No. RB115160).
The health of our dogs is always our priority. Any dogs used in our breeding program are health tested for hips, elbows, eyes, heart and thyroid and must score favourably. The exception would be using frozen semen as some of this testing may not have been done when the dog was alive. We are proud of our dogs and are happy to share the results of these tests.
Links to the full pedigrees of our dogs can be found on their respective pages.
Whether you want a show, performance or pet dog, the Field Spaniel can do it all. If you do want to compete, you will need one with extra confidence and drive. We aim to place the puppies in the homes where they are their owners can enjoying doing the things they like to do.
Harriet and Fergus competed in their first rally trial for 20211. Very pleased to say both bought home passes with Harriet scoring 94 in her first trial.
Sadly our breeding plans for November 2020 were not successful. I am sorry to those many people on my waiting list. We are down but not out and will try again in May 2021. All being well, that would mean puppies late July. If you are already on my waiting list, I will keep you on the list unless I hear from you. If you are not and want to find out more about Field Spaniels, please contact me.
As Field Spaniels are quite a rare breed, you will need to be patient and prepared to wait for the right puppy to come your way.
